That book that's included is such a treasure ... the articles, interviews with Linklater and the cast, and then the jewel of it all the June 16, 1992 letter from Linklater to the cast and crew ... wow! I hadn't read it in many years, but after your post I had to get it off the shelf. It's so inspiring and Linklater is a true artist.
As you can imagine, your step-dad loves this, especially the '69 Chevelle ss, and that 454 big block. If you really want to learn about classic cars from our day, this is your movie!

I do have the Criterion! The book is awesome, I especially appreciated the little music section. Iām just so obsessed with Linklater haha.

The cars are amazing! Frank and I were talking about what a great job they did with the cars. Of course, I guess it was easier to do in ā93!
